Enjoy the economical and performance benefits of affordable anode and cathode swapping. The same Scandiflash flash X-ray tube can be used for many scenarios by simply swapping anodes and cathodes.
The RPS30 service station contains a service tool box that houses the tools to make anode/cathode switching and alignment fast and easy to minimize experimental downtime. You can also store your spare anodes, cathodes and X-ray windows in this toolbox for quick access during configuration and maintenance.

Scandiflash no-glass X-ray tubes are both compact in size and robust – they can be handled by one person. Mounted to the RPS30 Service Station in just seconds, they’re easy to maintain and can be quickly configured and efficiently serviced on-site to get the most of your research. On top of that, our X-ray tubes are built to provide many years of reliable performance. Thanks to they’re construction, it’s easy and affordable to simply exchange anodes and cathodes without having to exchange the whole X-ray generating module. Less waste. That’s sustainability in practice!
Your hands-on workstation
An integrated ion pump is supplied with every X-ray tube – the RPS30 uses a turbo molecular pump to evacuate X-ray tubes enabling the start of the compact ion pump that maintains the vacuum pressure for your next exposure.
The RPS30H service station contains the turbo molecular pump and the possibility to pump down one X-ray tube. The RPS30V add-on modules enable the RPS30 to pump up to four Flash X-ray tubes individually or simultaneously.
